Gardener Unit

The Gardener Unit project involved the removal of existing internal walls and a full mechanical and electrical strip-out to enable the complete reconfiguration and refurbishment of the ward. Red Tree developed and introduced a new M&E design specifically for the seclusion room, ensuring the services were tailored to its operational requirements. New walls and drainage were also installed to create the dedicated seclusion room.

The completed works delivered two new offices, two storage rooms, a kitchen, bathroom and shower facilities, alongside specialist seclusion room doors and anti-ligature fittings. Red Tree carefully coordinated the new layout, M&E design and installations, drainage and existing building services, prioritising safety, quality and compliance throughout the refurbishment.
