At Red Tree, Social Value is part of how we work every day. We focus on practical, measurable actions that improve lives across the places we operate. Each year we set goals and track progress across four themes:

  • Work: create local jobs, apprenticeships and progression routes, while supporting wellbeing, fair pay and inclusive recruitment.

  • Economy: support SMEs through local procurement, prompt payment and an ethical, sustainable supply chain.

  • Community: collaborate with local people and organisations, volunteer, sponsor causes and open up career opportunities for young people.

  • Planet: reduce waste and emissions, keep delivery local, and align with our Carbon Net Zero ambition.

Our approach to Sustainability

At Red Tree, sustainability is built into how we operate and deliver projects. Our focus is practical, measurable action that reduces our impact and creates long-term value for the places we work.

  • Net Zero by 2035 with clear targets and regular monitoring

  • Lower-carbon travel & fleet: moving to hybrid/electric vehicles and smarter logistics

  • Waste first approach: eliminate, reduce, re-use, recycle across office and site

  • Responsible sourcing: ethical, sustainable procurement and modern-slavery aware supply chain

  • Keep it local: local workforce and local suppliers to cut emissions and support regional growth
