  • As an estimator, your main responsibilities will include understanding and communicating tender documents, conducting site surveys, and creating photographic records. You will prepare clear documents for tendering, identify and manage risk and opportunities. Your tasks also involve measuring and scheduling construction work, planning procurement, and evaluating subcontractors based on cost and value. You’ll price direct works for labour, equipment, and materials, maintain clear communication procedures, and attend meetings for bid decisions. Additionally, you’ll ensure smooth handovers to the QS and Contracts Managers, plan resources, and manage supply chain relationships with support. While you’ll have minor roles in bid writing and stakeholder management, you’ll keep accurate records, mentor team members, and manage estimating systems and databases.

    Skills & Qualities needed:

    • BSC (Hons) Quantity Surveying

    • Minimum of 5 years experience in similar role in construction

    • Confident IT skills

    • Mathematically proficient

    • Effective Communicator

    • Time management and organisational skills

    • Strong collaborators with leadership qualities

    • Experience in the administration of JCT/NEC contracts

    • Eligibility to work in the UK

    • Strategic and critical thinker

  • As a Red Tree Joiner, you will be site-based (within the Northwest) and be primarily responsible for the delivery of all joinery and general building tasks in addition supporting site operations so that the contract can run safely and efficiently. You will be an effective task manager, dedicated to supporting the team, providing a safe and healthy working environment and delivering well-planned solutions.

    Red Tree projects typically range from £50k - £3m and will likely fall into the fit-out or refurbishment category, most commonly within Healthcare or Education and often in a live environment.

    Skills and knowledge needed:

    • Recognised joinery qualification and experience in construction joinery.

    • Excellent people skills; focused on supporting the team.

    • Effective communicator with sound decision making, conflict management, listening, planning and organisational skills.

    • Good risk management skills i.e. identifying, eliminating, minimising and preventing risk.

    • Eligibility to work in the UK.

    • Full UK driving license required and flexibility regarding working hours and travel (in the Northwest.)

    • Delivery of 1st and 2nd fix joiner tasks including but not limited to fire doors, skirting, partitions and installation of bespoke joinery teams and FFE.

  • As Site Manager you will lead our Constriction Sites and work collaboratively with our operatives; acting as a reliable point of contact for our Clients, their teams and our supply chain to strengthen the ‘Red Tree Way’ in project delivery.

    You will be expected to manage our sites day to day, driving the team to success by delivering on time, to the required standards and within budget, whilst maximising client satisfaction.

    You will demonstrate your existing skills in effective planning, organisation, problem solving and resourcing to meet programme, contract & reporting requirements.

    Skills and knowledge required:

    • Minimum of 3 years experience in a similar role within the Construction industry.

    • Experience in the delivery of JCT/NEC contracts to a value of £3m.

    • Excellent people skills with sound decision making, conflict management , planning and organisational skills.

    • Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Office (including MS Excel.)

    • Good understanding of drawings and specifications.

    • Identify and mitigate risk.

    • Knowledge of an extensive range of new and existing building practices and methodologies.

    • Full UK driving license required and flexibility regarding working hours and travel (in the North West.)
