Alder Hey CAMHS Outpatient Facility

The refurbishment of the new CAMHS Outpatient Facility at Liverpool Innovation Park, delivered for Alder Hey Children’s Hospital, involved the conversion of existing office space into a specialist CAMHS facility. The works included a full strip-out and internal reconfiguration to create dedicated therapy and group rooms, meeting spaces, reception and waiting areas, and staff facilities.

The refurbishment incorporated new partition walls, acoustic insulation, fire doors, anti-ligature doors and ironmongery, internal glazed screens, hygienic wall cladding and specialist flooring. A comprehensive mechanical and electrical (M&E) installation included new heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems, roof-mounted plant, LED and emergency lighting, fire alarms, access control, CCTV and staff attack alarms.

The project also included a fully fitted kitchen, sanitaryware, signage and furniture, fittings and equipment (FF&E), delivering a modern, purpose-designed outpatient environment to support Alder Hey’s specialist mental health services.
