Red Tree joins Kilimanjaro Mental Health Challenge

Red Tree Building Contractors is proud to be a Joint Lead Sponsor of the Kilimanjaro Mental Health Challenge, supporting Wigan Athletic Community Trust’s work to improve mental health and wellbeing across local communities.

Led by Mental Health Peer Kieran Jones, the challenge will see Kieran climb Mount Kilimanjaro in January 2027 to raise awareness of mental health, encourage open conversations around wellbeing and raise vital funds for the Game Changers Community Gym programme.

Delivered in partnership with Wigan Athletic Community Trust, Game Changers provides structured physical activity, peer support and education for people experiencing mental health challenges, helping them improve their wellbeing and quality of life.

As part of the build-up to the climb, a series of wellbeing walks and fundraising events are taking place across the North West, bringing people together through physical activity and a shared commitment to positive mental health.

Red Tree will be joining the challenge on 22 November, taking part in the Haigh Hall and Worthington Lakes walk to show our support for this important cause.

We’re proud to support an initiative that makes a real difference to local people and helps create opportunities for individuals to connect, stay active and improve their mental wellbeing.
