Careers Day at St Ambrose College

It was a fantastic day at St. Ambrose College as students, teachers, and local professionals came together for the school’s annual careers day. Members of our team were delighted to spend time with students, hearing first-hand about their ambitions, interests, and the many pathways they are considering for the future.

To bring a practical and engaging element to the day, we set up a giant Jenga game alongside hard hats and high-vis gear, creating a fun and competitive talking point that quickly drew plenty of attention. The activity sparked conversations about teamwork, problem-solving, and site safety - key skills within the construction industry. Competitive spirit was high throughout the day, with Brady in particular proving he came prepared to win!

Above all, it was inspiring to connect with so many motivated and curious young people. Opportunities like this highlight the importance of engaging with students early and showcasing the breadth of careers available within construction. We’re proud to have been part of the day and look forward to seeing where the futures of these talented students lead - perhaps even into the construction industry itself.
