“I found Red Tree to be excellent, great attention to detail, very good communication and always offered a range of solutions to a problem”

Red Tree were contracted to build and develop the planned extension to Green End Primary School.

Prior to Red Tree’s involvement, the extension was designed as a porta-cabin short-term solution, potentially requiring future development. Red Tree provided significant cost savings that allowed for a more sustainable solution to meet the clients preferred design and layout. The savings were achieved by utilising SIPS panels and off-site manufacturing.

Green End Primary gained an additional classroom and a multifunctional workspace which could adapt to the school’s needs.

“We have worked with Red Tree Construction on a number of significant capital projects over the last 7 years. The team always take the time to understand our school context and work with us to ensure that the student experience is never compromised during periods of capital developments. The professionalism, engagement, quality of work and customers focus remain a constant.”

Red Tree secured another contract at North Ridge High School to design and build their new 160m2 extension incorporating offices, meeting and teaching spaces and a state of the art gym to cater for the ever-changing needs of the school.

The original tender figure was maintained throughout and the deadline was achieved. This was another successful project with North Ridge High School, maintaining our great relationship.

Following a competitive tender process Red Tree were pleased to be selected as the main contractor for a large multi-site Capital Works programme for NHS Property Services. This was Red Tree’s second involvement in the Capital Works scheme following the success of 2015.

The Capital Works scheme highlighted Red Tree’s ability to deliver complex multi-site projects, operating on over 29 sites for 12 months of on-site works. A number of refurbishment works were undertaken including; brand new reception areas, extensions, entrances, remodelling of existing spaces and refurbishing GP surgeries, staff and patient facilities.

“Red Tree were very professional with every aspect of the works carried out on site. All work carried out to agreed deadlines and budgets. Liaison between all their staff and hospital staff was excellent. Nothing was too much trouble with Red Tree having to respond to last minute changes in both programme and specification. Very happy with both the management and quality of workmanship throughout the project. Would happily recommend them for similar works.”

The brief was to design a striking entrance leading into a brand-new reception area, allowing the museum to open their doors to visitors on the quay side. This project linked well with the redevelopment of Media City.

The project was delivered to high standards, meeting the programme deadline and budget.
