World Alzheimer’s Day

Today is Worlds Alzheimer’s Day, a day to raise awareness, address misconceptions and challenge the stigma surrounding Alzheimer’s disease and other forms of dementia. With over 50 million individuals (expected to triple by 2050) suffering from Dementia, it is essential to increase public awareness and offer care and support to those who have the diagnosis, as well as their family.

Dementia UK is Red Tree’s chosen charity, raising over £2000 to help fund the specialist nurses – nurses who understand the complexities of dementia and provide a lifeline to many families. With a large percentage of Red Tree employees being affected by dementia, every member of the team appreciates the importance of supporting one another and getting involved to raise money for such an amazing charity – we have baked, hiked and taken to the streets with a Minion, and we have no plans to slow down the fundraising🧠💙
