An exciting project for both East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust and Red Tree is well underway. The Clinical Simulation Suite at Burnley Hospital is the second scheme Red Tree has delivered of this type and is making significant strides towards completion. Procured through NHS Shared Business Services we have been collaborating with East Lancashire Hospitals NHS Trust to bring this fallow space into the 21st Century. Formerly used as a mental health ward, the transformation will provide a state of the art, immersive training facilities. The high specification, technology led space, uses augmented reality, and true to life theaters. This provides students and medical professionals, a safe environment to integrate their theoretical knowledge into simulated space. The transformation from an underutilised and dusty space will be stark. We look forward to sharing the before and after pics. 🔁
