Aintree Hospital Temporary Ambulance Entrance

Monday 20th April saw Red Tree Building Contractors hand over the dedicated, temporary Ambulance Entrance at Aintree University Hospital.

Due to the ongoing impact of COVID-19 delivery of this vital clinical area was an absolute priority. Our design team worked hard with NHS Estates teams and suppliers to ensure that the temporary design solution, not only met the urgency of the revised timeframe for completion, but crucially, did not compromise on quality and functionality in an area of such high importance.

“We feel Red Tree and David Weaver in particular has done a fantastic job on this project. The finish achieved despite being temporary is worthy of permanent status”

Lee Downs, Clerk of Works

We are incredibly proud of the dedication shown by our teams who, have worked tirelessly to deliver this project from design to completion in three weeks under what have been very challenging circumstances.

Our onsite workforce have embraced enhanced health and safety practices to ensure they are compliant with new HSFE guidelines. Special measures have also been implements to help prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

With extra demand on NHS services due to the pandemic, through effective collaborative working we have been able to adapt quickly to prioritise the needs of our clients to ensure they have the clinical areas they need whilst maintaining the welfare of our workforce.
