Following previous successful contracts at Wythenshawe Hospital, Red Tree were appointed as the Main Contractor on a refurbishment project. The hospital required essential expansion works to cope with the demands each department was facing.

The brief was to create an Acute Medical Receiving Unit to help support the growing demands of the A&E department. This was a full refurbishment project, transforming an existing ward to accommodate the new facility.

Red Tree’s knowledge of the hospital proved beneficial when putting together the initial build programme. The programme ensured minimal disturbance to the Hospital’s staff and patients by carrying out the essential works at the most convenient time. Red Tree completed this project on time and budget to meet the client’s specific requirements.
