As a Red Tree Site Manager you will be responsible for driving the project delivery team to success by delivering on time, to the required standard and within budget, whilst maximising client satisfaction. You must be an effective leader, dedicated to supporting the team, providing a safe and healthy working environment and delivering well-planned solutions. Your role will be site-based (within the Northwest) and is key to maintaining effective communications between our office and site-based team.

Red Tree projects typically range from £10k – £2m and will likely fall into the fit-out or refurbishment category, most commonly within Healthcare or Education and often in a live environment.

  • Key Skills & Knowledge
  • Must have a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar role within the Construction industry.
  • A recognised site management and safety qualification is preferrable.
  • Proven ability to manage a construction site.
  • Experience in the delivery of JCT/NEC contracts.
  • Excellent people skills; focussed on motivating, supporting and developing the team.
  • Effective communicator with sound decision-making, conflict management, planning and organisational skills.
  • Confident IT skills, proficient in the use of MS Excel, Word and Outlook; familiar with MS Project; willingness to use new software.
  • Good understanding of Drawings and Specifications.
  • Experience in identifying and mitigating operational and commercial risk.
  • Knowledge of an extensive range of new and existing building practices and methodologies.
  • Eligibility to work in the UK.
  • Full UK driving license required and flexibility regarding working hours and travel (in the Northwest).
